Would you like to learn to identify herbs and make your own herbal tinctures,
salves, and syrups?
If so, we offer 2 day workshops at our B&Bs. (click on bed and breakfast

These workshops begin with an afternoon in the gardens and on the trails of
Mayne Island, where we identify plants. From the decks at the Springwater Lodge,
just down the street, we enjoy the sunset as we eat dinner (not included in
workshop fee). Our evening discussions focus on relevant scientific and folkloric
information about herbs which is coordinated with specific body knowledge. Mornings
begin with breakfast on our decks. After breakfast we gather together to make
a variety of herbal products. We take a break for a potluck lunch and aim to
have all our herbal products ready to take home by 5PM. Because we have a minimum
group size of 4 participants (maximum 7), we recommend that friends get in touch
with one another and then call us to make final arrangements.

COST:
$200 cdn / person for bed and breakfast and workshop (tax included). Each
participant will go home with a sample of each product made, as well as a
recipe for each product, except the bee venom salve.
